2024 Pinot Noir Village

As the Village tier of wines is meant to be fresh, fruity and vibrant, the Pinot Noir was picked accordingly to achieve a lower alcohol percentage while retaining some acidity. The whole berries were fermented on skins for 10 days using a Pinot specific yeast. Once pressed, the wine finished fermentation in neutral barrels where it subsequently aged for 4 months. Prior to bottling, a portion of Gamay was added to elevate the Pinot.
Bright cherry and wild blueberry lead the way in this fruit forward Pinot Noir – Gamay fusion, lifted by juicy acidity and a silky finish. Subtly black pepper and earthy undertones balance this wine beautifully and is meant for casual dinners and spontaneous celebrations.
