2023 Rosé
Intense and tangy with floral notes, strawberry, kiwi and watermelon on the nose. Palate reveals underlying spicy rhubarb, savoury herbs and a chalky texture. Dynamic, versatile and mouth watering, all while retaining it‘s soft and delicate nature.
A portion of the Merlot and the Syrah were whole cluster direct pressed into stainless steel where the juice underwent stabulation for 5 days (stirring of the juice lees) before co-fermenting using carefully selected yeast. The remaining Merlot and the Carménère were destemmed and left on skins for 2 hours before pressing to extract colour. The 4% Gamay Noir was added post fermentation to lift the fruit and to add colour and texture to the final blend.
